Please describe the work you do.

I'm a receptionist at a small vet practice. I love animals and enjoy being able to guide pet parents. A lot of my work entails addressing clients on the phone and checking patients in and out, but I also assist in animal handling and filling medications.

What are your career goals over the next year?

Over the next year, I hope to become certified as a dog trainer. I'm also a writer! By this time next year, I'd like to be professionally represented and gearing up to publish my first novel.

What are your career goals over the next 5 years?

Ideally in the next five years, my income will be solely from pet training and writing. At that time, I hope to also begin applying to PhD programs in English and/or Creative Writing.
